“Strong Turkey” International Juried Poster Design Exhibition, organised by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts, aims to make Turkey's rising power in the region, cultural accumulation, productivity, spirit of solidarity and vision for the future visible through poster design.

This exhibition aims to address Turkey's role in the contemporary world with the strength of its historical heritage, its multifaceted development ranging from science to art, technology to education, culture to economy, and its sense of social unity through creative visual expressions. Participants are expected to produce poster works that produce positive meanings about Turkey, interpreting the country's rise on a regional and global scale, its will for independence, democratic values, social solidarity and strong future perspective with an original design language.

“Strong Turkey” offers a broad conceptual framework that represents not only physical or economic strength, but also cultural richness, collective memory, national unity, determination to produce and social resilience. In this context, the exhibition aims to make Turkey's contemporary, dynamic and inspiring identity visible by utilising the effective communication power of graphic design.

The exhibition will meet with the audience on a meaningful date within the scope of 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day, emphasising Turkey's determination to protect democracy, independence and national will. The posters that are eligible to be exhibited as a result of the selection committee evaluation will be opened online at virtualgallery.ibu.edu.tr on 15 July 2026.

Applications will start on 15 May 2026 and end on 1 July 2026. The works sent to the exhibition will be selected as a result of the jury evaluation and the accepted works will take place in the virtual exhibition.

We invite all designers, academics, students and creative individuals interested in visual communication to interpret Turkey's strong, promising and rising identity through poster design.
